Our V2 rebuild robot for REBUILT, run at the Utah Regional and the World Championship in Houston. A linear intake feeds a horizontally extending hopper, and a corner biased turret shoots fuel into the hub. We moved the shooter from two Kraken X60s to three X44s on a 3 inch wheel with a hood roller, which shrank the turret swing radius and let us pass from farther out. Lighter and lower part count than V1.

Our first competition robot for REBUILT. A slapdown intake feeds an extending hopper on a spring loaded rail carriage, which feeds a turret shooter running two Kraken X60s and a 4 inch flywheel. It won all three of its events, the Canadian Pacific, Hawaii, and Idaho regionals, before we rebuilt into V2 partway through the season.

Our early season alpha bot for REBUILT, built quickly to prototype and test intake, hopper, and scoring ideas before locking in the competition design.

An offseason CAD project where I designed a full robot from scratch for the 2020 game, INFINITE RECHARGE. Mostly a packaging and design exercise, building a complete competition robot in CAD to score power cells into the power port.

A CAD replica of Team 2056's 2025 REEFSCAPE robot, reverse engineered purely from pictures with no reference CAD to work from. 2056 is known for clean, simple, reliable designs, so rebuilding it from photos alone was a good way to study how they package and simplify their mechanisms. This replica was also featured in MoSim, an FRC simulator game on Steam with thousands of players, where it got its own robot reveal.

Team 3070's 2025 REEFSCAPE robot. Low CG swerve on WCP X2i modules with Kraken X60s, a two stage cascade elevator driven by two Krakens that reaches full height in about 0.6 seconds, and a passive centering hopper. A fixed angle coral end effector scores on all four reef levels, and a separate pivoting algae mechanism on stealth wheels pulls algae off the reef and scores it in the processor.

A CAD replica of Team 254's 2024 CRESCENDO robot, reverse engineered purely from pictures with no reference CAD to work from. Copying one of the most dominant robots of that season from photos alone was a way to study how they approached intaking and shooting notes.

Team 3070's 2024 CRESCENDO robot. An omnidirectional swerve drivetrain allows the robot to traverse the field with agility with a flywheel shooter that launched orange foam notes into multiple goals to score points. Won the Auburn district event and was a finalist at Sammamish.
